Uttarakhand / Kotdwar : Guldar, who was ambushed on the soldier, attacked

A soldier was attacked by a guldar on the way in Lansdowne of Kotdwar in Uttarakhand on Tuesday morning. The soldier somehow saved his life by making noise. The soldier has been admitted to the Military Hospital. In the attack, the soldier’s body was injured due to claws at many places. This is the third incident of Guldar attack in Lansdowne area in the last fortnight. Which causes panic. People are afraid to come out of their homes.
Lansdowne Range Officer BD Tiwari said that on Tuesday morning at 5:45 am, Army’s Naib Subedar Suresh Kumar was coming from the side of Kaleshwar temple for the PT parade. On the way from Kaleshwar temple to Tithwal school, suddenly the Guldar who came in front of the soldier attacked.
When the soldier started making noise, other people also made noise. Due to which the Guldar fled towards the forest. The injured soldier was immediately taken to the Military Hospital. where he is undergoing treatment.
There are marks of Guldar’s nails on the back, hands, head and neck of the injured. Range officer Tiwari said that Guldar is a female. With which his two cubs are also being told. Patrolling is being done in the area. Even before this, there have been two incidents of Guldar attack.
