‘Conspiracy to settle Rohingya in Delhi’, Manish Sisodia retaliated on Home Ministry’s statement
Politics has intensified in Delhi on the issue of Rohingya. The confrontation between the Center and the Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi is likely to increase. Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that ‘the news that the Central Government was not tired of telling its achievements in the morning, after being opposed by the Aam Aadmi Party, now it has started shifting the responsibility on the Delhi Government. Whereas the reality is that the central government was secretly trying to give Rohingyas a permanent place in Delhi. On the behest of the central government, the officers and police took decisions only on the behest of the LG. Those who were being sent for the approval of LG without showing the Chief Minister or Home Minister to Delhi. The Delhi government will not allow this conspiracy to illegally settle Rohingyas in Delhi.
Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry clarified on Wednesday that it has not given any direction to provide EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category flats to Rohingya Muslims in Delhi. Also, the ministry asked the Arvind Kejriwal government to ensure that illegal foreigners are kept at their present places. and the Delhi Government has been directed to declare their present place of stay as a detention centre.
