Uttarakhand / Haridwar : One arrested with consignment of banned injection

Kaliyar Police has arrested one person with banned injection. 380 banned injections have been found from the possession of the accused. These injections are used in the treatment of pain and allergies. The accused used to bring a consignment of banned injections from Uttar Pradesh. Police have started interrogation by registering a case against the accused. The Kaliyar police station had received information on Wednesday night that a person was standing on the Kaliyar-Dhanauri road. The person has a large consignment of banned injections. He is trying to sell this injection to someone. On information, Kaliyar police station in-charge Manohar Bhandari laid siege along with the police team. On seeing Kaliyar police, the accused started running from there. On suspicion, the police chased and nabbed the accused. Police have recovered 380 injections from the possession of the accused. These include 190 injections of Buffin (for the treatment of pain) and 190 injections of Anvil (for the treatment of allergies). The station in-charge said that during interrogation, the accused has given his name as Asif resident Nai Basti Kaliyar. The accused told that he has been selling banned injections in the area for a long time. He told that he brings this consignment of banned injections from Saharanpur and Muzaffarnagar. A person from UP helps him in this work. The station in-charge said that the accused who got the consignment of banned injections is being marked. Soon he too will be arrested. The station in-charge said that the banned injection cannot be sold without the prescription of the doctor.
