Uttarakhand / Moradabad : Municipal contractor tried to strangle the supervisor for not making a fake bill

In Municipal Corporation Moradabad, there was a dispute between the contractor and the supervisor of the construction department for not passing the fake bill. It is alleged that the contractor of the Municipal Corporation tried to strangle after assaulting the supervisor. The victim saved his life by entering the office. On the complaint of the victim, the Civil Lines police station took action to register a case against the accused contractor.

The construction of pink toilet in Lalbagh is being done by contractor Rajkamal Gupta. In this, the contractor had submitted the file to the supervisor for revising the estimate when more work was done than the earlier sanctioned work. It is alleged that the work of plastering, linter and dyeing of the cleaning warehouse was done at par with the pink toilet.

The file was given to the supervisor for revision of the estimate. But the contractor refused to pass it citing a fake bill. It is alleged that on Wednesday evening, contractor Rajkamal Gupta and supervisor Ajay Kumar Diwakar came to pressurize him to pass the bill. When the supervisor refused, he started abusing them using caste words.

The supervisor alleges that the contractor Rajkamal tried to strangle him with a pot lying around his neck. After escaping, he went inside the office and hid. After this, other employees present in the office intervened.

On the complaint of the victim, the Civil Lines Police Station took action against the accused Municipal Corporation contractor Rajkamal for a murderous attack, registering a case under other serious sections under the SC-ST Act. Civil Lines CO Ashutosh Tiwari said that on the basis of Tahrir, action has been taken to register a case against the accused contractor. Soon he will be arrested and sent to jail.
