Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi : Teenager’s kidnapper and misconduct accused arrested
The police of Purola police station area has arrested the kidnapper of the teenager and the youth accused of rape. The police arrested the accused from Dehradun and registered a case against him under IPC sections on the basis of the statement of the victim.
According to the information, two days ago, a person came to Damta post and gave a written complaint against a young man named Rohit Kumar in relation to luring the minor daughter away. Based on the Tahrir, the police registered a kidnapping case against the accused. After this, a police team was formed under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Bhav Singh Chauhan and started investigation. On Thursday, the police team arrested the accused along with recovering the teenager from Dehradun. A case has been registered against the arrested accused Rohit Kumar, son Roshan Lal, resident of Sahastradhara Road Police Station, Raipur, Dehradun on the basis of the statements of the teenager. The team had outpost in-charge Bhav Singh Chauhan, Sunil Panwar, Abbal Singh, Rinki.
