Uttar Pradesh : Two people who reached Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura on Janmashtami died of suffocation in the crowd

Two people who reached the temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, to attend the program organized on the occasion of Janmashtami, died due to overcrowding. The police confirmed this. The incident took place in Banke Bihari when the celebration of Krishna’s birth anniversary was going on there.

A Mathura police officer said, “There was a sudden rush of people on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. At the time of the aarti, too many people entered the temple premises, due to which there was a huge crowd. Due to this crowd, two people suffocated. died.” Please tell that Mathura is considered the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

Before the event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura and reiterated his commitment to preserve and promote the spiritual and cultural heritage of the state. “The teachings of Lord Shri Krishna, ‘Paritranaya Sadhunam Vinshay Cha Dushkritam’, inspire our thoughts, our actions and our vision,” he said.

Yogi Adityanath said, “Lord Krishna came to this earth about 5,000 years ago from today and his ‘lilas’ are still celebrated in every part of the country and the world.”
