Uttarakhand : Sitting on a bulldozer, Chief Minister Dhami inspected the disaster affected areas
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted on-site inspection of disaster affected areas in and around Kumalda. The Chief Minister directed the Commissioner Garhwal and District Magistrate Tehri to take the people of the disaster affected area to safer places. Adequate arrangements should be made for food and other essential items for them. The Chief Minister inspected the disaster affected area from JCB. During the inspection, he instructed the officers that the roads which have been blocked, alternate routes should be arranged for the movement of people. In these areas where the supply of drinking water and electricity has been disrupted, proper arrangements should be made for electricity and drinking water in those areas.
On this occasion MLA Umesh Sharma Kau, Pritam Singh Panwar, Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar, DIG Garhwal K.S. Naganyal, District Magistrate Tehri Dr. Saurabh Gaharwar, SSP Tehri Navneet Singh Bhullar and officers of district administration were present.
