Uttar Pradesh : Mahapanchayat in support of Shrikant Tyagi, huge crowd reaching Noida; many roads will be closed

Samyukta Tyagi Swabhiman Morcha has organized a Mahapanchayat at Maharishi Ashram Ramlila Maidan on Sunday regarding the Shrikant Tyagi episode. Hundreds of people reached till Saturday evening to attend it. Noida Police is also ready regarding the Mahapanchayat. The officials along with the police force inspected the Mahapanchayat site on Saturday.

InstallingTents, lights and coolers
The Mahapanchayat, which will start at 10 in the morning, is expected to attract millions of people from other states including Brahmins, Tyagis, Bhumihars and others. The Mahapanchayat to be held on the call of the United Tyagi Swabhiman Morcha will start from 10 am. For this, the work of installing tents, lights, coolers etc. was going on at Maharishi Ramlila Maidan, the Mahapanchayat site on Saturday.

Millions of people will be involved
According to the Samyukta Tyagi Swabhiman Morcha and Rashtriya Brahmrishi Mahasangh, lakhs of people from different districts of UP as well as Brahmins, Tyagis, Bhumihars from other states will participate in the Mahapanchayat. The Principal Patron of Brahmarshi Mahasangh, Narendra Tyagi said that the office bearers of the farmers’ organization are also expected to come. The people of the society have formed a committee in the name of Tyagi Swabhiman Manch. All the people coming to the Mahapanchayat will be the members of this committee.

Noida Police issued advisory
Noida Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the possibility of heavy congestion. Noida Police has told in the advisory that :-

• Traffic going from Phase-2 to Gejha Tiraha to Maharishi Ashram Chowk via Lotus Blue Bird Tiraha to Noida will be able to reach the destination from Gejha Tiraha to Shramik Kuj Chowk via Faridabad Flyover / Sector 105 Chowk, Hajipur Chowk.

• Traffic going from Hajipur Chowk to Lotus Blue Bird Tiraha towards Phase-2 from Maharishi Ashram Chowk will be able to reach the destination from Hajipur Chowk via Sector 105 Chowk, Shramik Kunj Chowk, Gejha Tiraha/Aldico Chowk to Phase-2.

• Traffic going from Maharishi Ashram Chowk to Phase-2 via Link Road (Sector 71 to DMC Road) via Lotus Blue Bird Tiraha, Samsung Chowk Sector 81 or Prateek Building Tiraha, Lotus Blue Bird Tiraha, Hajipur Chowk to Sector 105 Chowk, Jha Tiraha will be able to go to the destination via Phase-2 from Eldico Chowk.

• Traffic going from Reality Hospital Tiraha to Maharishi Ashram Chowk to Noida will be able to reach the destination via Shramik Kunj Chowk, Sector 105 Chowk, Hajipur Chowk.

• Traffic going from Maharishi Ashram Chowk to Phase-2 via DSC Road will be able to reach the destination via Prateek Building Tiraha, Lotus Blue Bird Tiraha, Hajipur Chowk to Sector 105 Chowk, Gejha Tiraha, Eldico Chowk to Phase-2.

• The road from Lotus Blueward Society Tiraha to Maharishi Ashram Chowk will be completely restricted for traffic movement.

Noida Police released helpline number
Noida Police has said in the advisory that for traffic related information, contact the helpline number 9971009001 of the traffic police Gautam Budh Nagar and use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.

More than 1200 policemen deployed
Regarding the Mahapanchayat, on Saturday night itself, the traffic police has made arrangements for the traffic by issuing an advisory. During this, more than 1200 policemen will be deployed. Police and fire brigade teams are also keeping an eye on the venue.

Tyagi society accused the family of harassment
The controversy over planting trees in Omaxe Society, Sector-93B, three weeks ago, is not taking its name to stop. Shrikant Tyagi is currently in jail. The police had registered a case under several sections including the Gangster Act. The people of Tyagi society have called a Mahapanchayat on Sunday, accusing Shrikant Tyagi and his family of harassment in the case.
