Bihar : Assembly speaker vijay sinha resigns before nitish government’s floor test

The Mahagathbandhan government has been formed in Bihar, but today the government has to pass the floor test. As soon as the proceedings started, the speaker while addressing the assembly said that many allegations were leveled against me, after which he resigned. When the proceedings of the meeting started, Speaker Vijay Sinha said that I did not resign because I wanted to reply. Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha Vijay Sinha said that he is working under the rules and has always worked according to the rules. The no-confidence motion brought against him is unconstitutional.
Now the Nitish government has to go through a floor test. As soon as the proceedings started, the speaker while addressing the assembly said that many allegations were leveled against me, after which he resigned. The new Grand Alliance government will demonstrate strength during the special session held today. The Grand Alliance has more than the majority figure (122) i.e. 164 MLAs, while the BJP has 76 MLAs.
After the formation of the Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar, all eyes were on whether Vidhansabha Speaker Vijay Sinha would resign or not. Earlier, the ruling Grand Alliance has given a no-confidence motion notice against him. In such a situation, it was believed that he would resign from the post of Speaker before the start of the two-day special session of the Bihar Legislature. But then he made it clear that he would not do this at all.
