Mercedes launches its widest range of vehicles in India
Mercedes today launched its widest range of electric sedan EQS in the Indian market. The price of this Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ is 2.45 Cr. The EQS 53 houses a 400V, 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery that can deliver up to 200kW of rapid charge. This vehicle comes with fast charging technology. It also gets bespoke wiring which helps in decent performance and gives the EQS 53 a range of up to 586 kms.
Mercedes-AMG claims that the EQS 53 accelerates to 100 in just 3.4 seconds. The top speed of this vehicle is 250kph.
The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ gets multiple AMG driving modes that adjust suspension, handling, power delivery and battery management as well as synthesized sound. With the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+, Mercedes also introduced the ‘Hyperscreen’ in India.
Mercedes-Benz will set up the largest ‘ultra-fast charging’ network in India, which will cover 80 percent of India by the end of 2022. These will include 180kW Ultra Fast DC Charger (over 20), 60kW Fast DC Charger (over 20) and 22kW AC Charger (over 100).
