Uttarakhand / Roorkee : Panic caused by crocodile entering Pratap Colony late night, forest department team caught

There was panic due to the crocodile entering late night in Pratap Colony located on Tamarind Road in the town. Meanwhile, the forest department team reached the spot and after a lot of effort, overpowered the crocodile. During this, a large crowd gathered at the spot.

Pratap Colony is near the river on Imlikheda road in Bhagwanpur town. Some youths of the colony were walking on the road late on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, his eyes fell on the crocodile sitting in a pile of bricks on the side of the road.

The young man got scared after seeing the crocodile. He made a noise. After which many people reached the spot. Seeing the crocodile, there was a stir in the colony, in a hurry someone informed the forest department team.

As soon as the information was received, the forest department team reached the spot. The team of forest department overpowered the crocodile. It is feared that the crocodile may have come to the colony from the nearby Solani river. The residents of the colony say that before this crocodile has never been seen here. Roorkee Forest Range Ranger Vinay Rathi told that the crocodile will be taken to Banganga and released.

Crocodile caught eating three thousand fishes of pond in Mangalore
Thousands of fish were eaten by a crocodile in Libarhedi village. The forest department team caught the crocodile from the pond. The crocodile has been released after taking it to the Ganges.

Yogesh Kumar, a resident of village Libarhedi of Narsan block, has prepared a pond of about 10 bighas for fisheries near the highway outside the village. The villager had put about three thousand seeds in the pond for fisheries six months ago.

About a week ago, a crocodile came from somewhere in the pond. The crocodile had started making fish in the pond. Recently, a villager had informed Yogesh Kumar after seeing a crocodile in the pond. The villagers were terrified by the information about the presence of crocodile in the pond.

The information was given to the forest department team. Due to which the forest department team reached the pond on Wednesday afternoon to rescue the crocodile. The forest department team caught the crocodile after hard work.

Sub-Inspector Amit Tyagi, Mohammad Rafi and Mohammad Arif were present in the team. At the same time, villager Yogesh told that when he cast a net to find out the number of live fish in the pond, only five fish got trapped in the net.
