Don’t take admission here, these universities are fake

The University Grant Commission (UGC) has released the list of Fake Universities. You must be thinking that how can a university be fake? So UGC has also given the answer to this along with this list. These are the institutions which are not recognized by the UGC as universities. Despite this, they are taking admission of students and giving them degrees. Which is completely fake. Only those universities have the right to grant degrees, which are created by passing an Act in the Parliament or Legislative Assembly of the country. UGC has all the responsibility of management of these universities. Therefore, from time to time, the UGC brings out the list of such institutions which are fake.

How many fake universities in which state?

On 26 August 2022, UGC released a list. There are 21 fake universities in this list. Delhi has the highest number of fake universities, whose number is eight. After this comes the number of Uttar Pradesh where there are four fake universities. Then comes the number of West Bengal and Orissa where there are two fake universities each. Apart from this, there is one fake university each in Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh.
