Sonali Phogat’s PA Sangwan confesses his crime, claims Goa Police
Big update has come in BJP leader Sonali Phogat murder case. Goa Police has claimed that Sonali Phogat’s PA Sudhir Sangwan has confessed to his crime. In fact, Goa Police on Friday arrested her personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan along with Sukhwinder Singh in connection with the murder of Sonali Phogat. Addressing reporters on Friday, Inspector General of Police Omvir Singh Bishnoi said that Sangwan has confessed to his crime. The police officer said that after reaching Goa, he took Sonali Phogat along with Sukhwinder to a restaurant in North Goa on the pretext of partying and he (Sangwan) mixed something in the drinking water and forced Sonali to drink .
IG Omvir Singh Bishnoi told that Sonali Phogat was feeling uneasy and sick in the restaurant after drinking water. He was later taken to Sangwan and Sukhwinder Hotel, where they were staying and then to St. Antony’s Hospital, Anjuna, where Phogat was declared brought dead. Police said Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka had alleged in the complaint that Sonali Phogat was murdered by her personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan in connivance with Sukhwinder Singh with the intention of taking over her property and ending Sonali’s political career.
Haryana’s Sonali Phogat, who got fame from the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 14’, has said goodbye to the world. He was 42 years old. He died due to heart attack in Goa. However, many questions are being raised on his death. After Sonali’s passing, her photos are becoming viral on social media. Some pictures are from modeling days. Sonali once told that she always dreamed of becoming an actress, but before she could fulfill her dream, she got married.
Investigation of the case from all angles
Bishnoi said that the matter will be investigated from every angle. He said that the investigating officer checked the CCTV footage of the premises concerned and it was found that Sudhir was forcibly making Sonali drink something. Bishnoi said that since the exact cause of death has not been mentioned in the postmortem report and it will be clear only after chemical examination of the viscera, histopathological and serological reports, which will take some time.
For this reason Sangwan was arrested
The IG said that both Sukhwinder and Sangwan have been arrested and further investigation is on to avoid the possibility of destruction of evidence and influence of witnesses. Phogat had come to Goa on August 22 and stayed at a hotel in Anjuna. On Monday night (Tuesday) after complaining of uneasiness, he was rushed to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Anjuna at around 8 am, where he was declared brought dead.
Sonali’s CCTV footage surfaced from Goa hotel
The death of BJP leader Sonali Phogat is not normal. Looking at the latest CCTV footage from the hotel in Goa, it seems that his condition is very bad. The footage is of 4:27 am. Goa Police has scanned 200 to 300 CCTV footage of the hotel in which this chunk has been found. In this footage, Sonali is seen wearing a top and half pants. A person is carrying them with the support of the shoulder. This footage is screaming the story of the incident with Sonali. On the other hand, the post-mortem report of Sonali’s body also states that injury marks have been found on the body.
