The Central Government has approved the appointment of 55 IAS officers at the level of Joint Secretary, also includes the name of senior IAS Chandresh Kumar Yadav from Uttarakhand

The Central Government has approved the appointment of 55 IAS officers of 2006 batch at the level of Joint Secretary or Joint Secretary equivalent. The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has given this information in one of its orders. In an important decision by the Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet, 55 officers of the 2006 batch of the Indian Administrative Service have been appointed at the level of Joint Secretary or Joint Secretary equivalent. In the list which has been released by the government, 5 are from Uttar Pradesh cadre, 4 Maharashtra and 1 Uttarakhand cadre, 3 from Gujarat cadre while the rest are officers from different state cadres. All these officers will be posted at the level of Joint Secretary at different places in the Central Government.
