Uttarakhand / Tehri : Theft in three temples in Gaza’s Pali village

On Friday night, thieves blew away cash by breaking the locks of three temples in Pali village of Bhali Gram Panchayat of Gaja tehsil. Apart from this, the thieves also searched the almirahs and boxes by breaking the locks of the houses of villagers Dharam Singh Negi and Purnanand Jakhmola, but no items of any kind were stolen.

Village head Surjit Singh Rawat and villager Diwan Singh Negi told that the people of the two houses whose thieves broke the locks work outside. The incident has been reported to the owners of the said houses. Only the owner will be able to tell what kind of goods have been stolen from the houses. Told that from the donation box of Nagaraja temple located in the village, the thieves have stolen about 15 thousand rupees in cash and money kept in the donation papers of the temples of other two goddesses. Villager Darmian Singh Negi told that for the first time an incident of theft has happened in the village, due to which the villagers are in panic. The village head has informed the Gaza tehsil administration about the theft incident on Saturday morning. Gaja Tehsildar Renu Saini, who reached the spot along with the revenue team, told that the revenue team has been engaged in the investigation in the village, the incident will be revealed only after the investigation.
