‘Congress forces you to resign’, another veteran vents anger, left the party

There is a flurry of resignations in the Congress party. After the resignation of veteran Congress leader Gulab Navi Azad, the process of resignations continues. In such a situation, the Congress has got another setback. While resigning from the party, the former MP has also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi fiercely. There is a ruckus in the Congress party due to the resignations taking place one after the other. This process of leaving the party is not taking its name to stop. In such a situation, the old and veteran leader of the party is unhappy with the attitude of the party.
Former MP left the party
After the resignation of Congress’s most veteran leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, Telangana Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha MP MA Khan has also resigned from the party. During this, Khan made many allegations against the Congress leadership and Rahul Gandhi. He said that the Indian National Congress party has completely failed to convince the people of the country that it can regain its old heritage and take the country forward as before.
‘If you had listened to G23, this would not have happened’
In his resignation letter to the Congress leadership, MA Khan said that the senior leaders of the G23 had raised their voices for the welfare and well being of the Congress. But the party leadership rejected his move and ignored his point. If the party had shown faith in those leaders and valued their words and understood their concern for the party, perhaps things would have been different today. Khan was associated with the party from his student life i.e. for more than 4 decades.
‘Party forced to resign’
Khan said, “Senior Congress leaders are forced to resign. The top leadership does not take any steps towards re-energizing the party’s grassroots workers and talks about the leadership of Pandit Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, serving the country with their commitment and dedication. After seeing all this I had no other option but to leave the party. I therefore hereby tender my resignation from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress Party with immediate effect.
Targeting Rahul Gandhi
After resigning from Congress, MA Khan said that I left Congress because of this. Because Rahul Gandhi had assumed the post of Vice President in the party committee. Things started deteriorating after Rahul took over as the vice-president. From block level to booth level, his views do not match with any party member. He has a different ideology of his own.
Because of this the party’s downfall
The former Congress Rajya Sabha MP said, ‘This is the reason why the Congress is falling. All this has now reached such an extent that all the veteran leaders of the party who have served and strengthened the party for decades are leaving the party. Rahul doesn’t know how to deal with senior leaders.
Many veterans left
Let us tell you that along with MA Khan, many big leaders of Congress have left the party this year. Earlier, on Friday, senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad resigned from all posts in the Congress, including the primary membership of the party. Along with this, on August 21, Congress veteran Anand Sharma has resigned from the post of President of Himachal Pradesh Election Steering Committee constituted by the party.
