While interacting informally with the media on complaints of irregularities in the recruitment of Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this is a very serious matter and a matter related to employment of all the youth of our state. Wherever complaints of irregularities are being received in the recruitment of Subordinate Services Selection Commission, we have ordered a strict inquiry. Some cases have been given to STF and on some, Vigilance has been appointed. Proceedings are going on in all the cases, the result of which is coming in front of all of you that so far a total of 25 arrests have been made. He said that no one will be spared in the recruitment scams, no matter how tall one’s hands are, their work will be done by law.

The Chief Minister said that with this we want to set an example for the future also so that this incident does not happen again because we are concerned about today and tomorrow of our sons and daughters, their present and future. We have to make such a system of recruitment processes in the state that no one can even think of doing such an act in future. Continuous investigation is going on, the results of which are gradually coming in front of all of you.

On complaints of irregularities in the appointments in the Vidhan Sabha, the Chief Minister said that the Vidhan Sabha is a constitutional body, and we would request the Speaker of the Assembly that all the recruitments that have taken place in the Vidhan Sabha, in which complaints are coming, that appointment should be of any period in them. There should be a fair investigation. Whatever cooperation is sought from the State Government in the matter of investigation by the Speaker, it will be given.
