Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Action against five spa centers after finding irregularities, fined

Police conducted surprise raids on spa centers under Police Station Rajpur (Dehradun Rajpur Police Station) area. During the raids, action was taken against the spa operators for finding irregularities in the spa centers. During the action, challan action of 50 thousand was taken at five spa centers.

Let us inform that after the complaints coming against the spa center and massage parlor operated by the SSP in Dehradun district, subordinate officers have been directed for checking and strict action. In this sequence, the Rajpur police team conducted surprise raids on spa centers under the police station area (raids at dehradun spa centers). During the raid, action was taken against the operators after some spa operators found irregularities. In checking by the police team, it was found that the operator had not recorded the complete details including the ID of any customer, nor has the police verification of the staff been done.

SP City Sarita Doval said that all the staff and operators of the spa centers were questioned thoroughly and on finding irregularities, action was taken under the Police Act. During the action, 5 spa centers were challaned and a fine of Rs 50,000 was imposed. He said that the police operation will continue even further.
