Uttarakhand: Leakage of poisonous gas, 35 people including SSP, SDM, CO unconscious, ten admitted to ICU…

A gas cylinder kept in a scrap warehouse leaked on Tuesday morning at Rudrapur Transit Camp in Udhamsinghnagar district of Uttarakhand. Due to which the people around started fainting. After the information, SSP, SDM, CEO, SDRF, Fire and Police teams reached the spot. He also got in the grip of poisonous gas. So far, about 35 people, including SDM, CO and SDRF employees, have fainted. He has been admitted to the ICU of the district hospital for treatment. All have been given oxygen support. Of the 35, 10 people have been kept in the ICU, while the rest have been admitted to the general ward. There has been a stir since the incident.
Gas is not detected at the moment
The police team that reached the spot took information and admitted three people to the district hospital. At present, which gas was in the police cylinder, it is not known. The help of chemists will also be taken in its detection.

Cylinder was kept in the scrap warehouse
On Tuesday morning, there was a sudden leak from a gas cylinder kept in the scrap warehouse in Azad Nagar/Raja Colony of the transit camp. Due to the strong odour, people started having difficulty in breathing. Suddenly the gas spread rapidly. Due to which some people living there fainted due to gas.
They were admitted to the hospital
Someone informed the police about this. On information, police reached the spot and took information. Simultaneously, Ramavati, Seema and Dharmendra, who fainted due to gas, were admitted by the police personnel to the district hospital with the help of people.
Interrogation of scrap
Police Station Transit Camp Sundaram Sharma said that the gas cylinder kept in the scrap warehouse has leaked. Due to which three people fainted. It is being ascertained which gas was in the cylinder. Kabadi is being questioned for this.
Oxygen was given on the spot to more than six people
Many people had trouble breathing during the gas leak. On the information of which several ambulances rushed to the spot. From where three people were sent to the district hospital. While more than 6 people had trouble breathing. On this, he was given oxygen from the cylinders kept in the ambulance. Later his condition improved.
SDM also complained of vomiting
SDM Kaustubh Mishra, who reached the spot after the information about the leakage of poisonous gas, also complained of vomiting. While the mouse died near the warehouse. So the plant nearby also got completely scorched.
ADM arrived to inquire
ADM Finance Dr Lalit Narayan Mishra has reached the ICU of the district hospital to know the well being of the gas victims SDM, SDRF, policemen and others. CMO Dr Sunita Chufal Raturi is also constantly monitoring the situation.
