Uttarakhand / Roorkee : Pathri’s youth murdered by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon, dead body thrown on the roadside

A youth of Pathri area was murdered by slitting his throat in Roorkee. The Dhaba owner, seeing the dead body lying in a pool of blood, informed the police. The police informed the family members of the deceased about the incident through Aadhar card. As soon as the information was received, the relatives and relatives reached the Civil Hospital and inquired about the information. At the same time, the reason for the murder is not yet known. Police have registered a case of murder against unknown.

On Tuesday morning, at around 9 o’clock, a dhaba owner on the Paniala-Mangalore bypass saw the dead body of a young man covered in blood on the roadside and informed the Gangnahar Kotwali police. As soon as the information was received, CO Roorkee Vivek Kumar, Civil Lines Kotwali in-charge Devendra Singh Chauhan and SSI Gangnahar Kotwali Dharmendra Rathi reached the spot along with the police force and took information. The marks of a sharp weapon were found on the neck of the deceased. When the police searched the clothes of the deceased, an Aadhar card was found. In this, the deceased was identified as Satbir Singh (34), resident of Ekkad Kalan, Thana Pathri, near Shiv Mandir. Police contacted the family members and informed about the incident.

Simultaneously, the body was sent to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem. The police took information from the relatives who reached here. Relatives told that Satveer’s two friends had come from Punjab. With them he left for Punjab on Monday evening. Meanwhile, he met his brother in a Bolero car with two youths. Satbir had talked about bringing tractor bumper from Punjab. In the night, he also talked to the family members on mobile. The family told that he had no enmity with anyone. A police complaint has been lodged on behalf of the relatives of the deceased. CO Vivek Kumar told that who were the two youths with the deceased, they are being searched. The exact reason behind the murder will be known only after the youths are caught. Police investigation is going on.

A video was put on Facebook status
The relatives of the deceased told the police that Satbir had put a video on Facebook status on Monday night. In this a car is seen going on a highway but no one’s face is visible in the video. He feared that the video is of Salier-Mangalore bypass only. Police is also investigating on the basis of the video.

Checking mobile call details
CO Vivek Kumar told that the relatives of the deceased told that Satbir used to do farming. With whom did he interact with his mobile on Monday night? They are being investigated. The matter is also being investigated on the basis of call details. Told that the Pathri police station is also being investigated for the disclosure of the murder.

So the connection of murder is related to Punjab
Police is closely investigating the matter. Police are suspecting that the two youths who were with Satbir may be residents of Punjab. It may happen that on the way to Punjab, Satbir had a dispute with him about something and he may have done the incident. Along with this, CCTV cameras from Salier-Mangalore bypass to Jwalapur where he met his brother are also being scanned by the police to find the car number.
