Uttar Pradesh : Yogi government made a big administrative reshuffle, transferred 16 IAS officers, reduced stature of Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary, Information Department

The Yogi government has transferred 16 IAS officers in a major administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh. Navneet Sehgal has been given the responsibility of Chief Secretary Sports from Additional Chief Secretary Information. At the same time, ACS Amit Mohan Prasad has now been given Small Industries, Handloom Department after the question raised on transfers in the Health Department. While reducing the stature of Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary, Information Department, Sehgal was transferred to the Sports Department. Along with this, during the tenure of Additional Chief Secretary Aradhana Shukla, after the UP Board paper was leaked, she was sent to the AYUSH department. Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma, who was waiting, was made the Principal Secretary Medical, Health and Family Welfare. Apart from this, Himanshu Kumar has been made Rural Development and Rural Engineering Services, Dr. Hariom has been made Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Monika Garg has been made Additional Chief Secretary, Minority Welfare and Muslim Waqf Department. While Mahesh Kumar Gupta has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Energy and Additional Energy Resources Department, Kalpana Awasthi has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.

Mukesh Kumar Meshram has been given additional charge of Charity Affairs Department. Along with this, Arvind Kumar has been given the charge of the post of CEO of UPEDA and Upsha. He is presently Commissioner of Infrastructure and Industrial Development, Additional Chief Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development, IT and Electronics and NRI Departments and Chairman, PICUP. Rajesh Kumar Singh I has been entrusted with the responsibility of Principal Secretary, Prisons Administration and Reform Services, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Director General Prisons. On the other hand, Sudhir Mahadev Bobde has been appointed as the Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department. Sanjay Prasad has been given Principal Secretary, CM, Protocol, Information and Public Relations, Home, Encryption, Visa, Passport and Vigilance Department. Apart from this, Deepak Kumar has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary Secondary Education Department with the present responsibility.
