Passengers traveling on Dehradun To Delhi Roadways, please note, the crisis started looming over the bus service

From October 1, the roadways bus service from Dehradun to Delhi is facing a crisis. After the Delhi government’s order to give entry to only BS-6 vehicles, the Transport Corporation also took out the tender for CNG buses, but the companies did not come in it. Now the challenge before the corporation is to arrange buses by September 30.
In fact, the Delhi government had sent a letter to the State Transport Corporation, in which it was clearly stated that from October 1, only those roadways buses would be given entry in Delhi, which would be of BS-6 standard. Uttarakhand Transport Corporation currently has only about 50 roadways buses including Volvo and contract which are BS-6. About 250 buses of the corporation go from Uttarakhand to Delhi.
The Transport Corporation had floated tenders for 141 CNG buses in the month of June. In this tender, only one or two companies appeared for only 50 buses. Even if the tender is again floated for 200 CNG buses within a month, then the supply of buses in such a short time is challenging. However, Transport Corporation MD Rohit Meena says that the arrangements for buses will be completed within a month.
If the bus service is stopped, there will be loss
The Transport Corporation earns the most from Uttarakhand to Delhi bus service. In such a situation, if the buses are not available on time, then the Transport Corporation may suffer. It is being told that if the bus service of Delhi is stopped, then there will be a loss of 50 percent of the revenue.
