Two officers of Uttarakhand Police get FICCI Smart Policing Award

Uttarakhand Police has once again raised the value of the state across the country. Inspector General of Police SCRB Kewal Khurana and STF Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh were honored with Smart Policing Award by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at a function held in New Delhi on Friday. Two officers of Uttarakhand have made a place in 192 entries, including the Central Para Military Organization, states across the country. DGP Ashok Kumar has congratulated on the achievement of the police officers.

Inspector General of Police SCRB Kewal Khurana honored with Smart Policing Award.

This honor is given every year by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry for better work in policing. The first award was given by FICCI to Inspector General of Police, SCRB Kewal Khurana for the year 2021 for the Uttarakhand Traffic Eyes App for Road Safety and Traffic Management under the category Road Safety & Traffic Management.

The second award by FICCI was given to STF Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh for the e-Suraksha Chakra 2.0 launched for Smart Policing Initiatives in the Cyber ​​Crime Management category. The Special Task Force is functioning as the nodal agency for prevention of crimes of serious nature and cybercrime in the state of Uttarakhand. At present, the STF is continuously arresting the accused in the UKSSSC paper leak case as well.
