Uttarakhand / Haldwani : Five feet king cobra rescued from the roof of the warehouse in Unchapul
Forest Department rescued a king cobra from Unchapul. The cobra has been released to a safe place in the wild.
According to forest officials, a snake entered the house of Deepak Joshi, a resident of Unchapul, on Thursday morning. On this the family members informed the forest department. On information, members of the Chhakata Range team of Haldwani Forest Division reached the spot. The team rescued the snake from the linter tin in a home-built warehouse. The snake caught was a five feet long king cobra. The team has released the snake at a safe place in the dense forest. The team included Chandu Mehta, Pal Gopal etc.
