Uttarakhand : Jitendra Tyagi surrendered in Haridwar court, said- I am a Hindu, I am proud of it

After the order of the Supreme Court, Jitendra Narayan Tyagi (earlier name Wasim Rizvi) surrendered in the court. Seeing the threat to his life, he was ordered for protection.

Jitendra Narayan Tyagi said that after being in jail for four months, I am repenting of the sins which I have never committed. Because I am a Hindu and I take pride in it. I am also in danger of my life, because those who say that they are separated from their head and body, they know how to kill. Danger is everywhere and as long as I am alive the danger will remain.
Court also ordered security
After the Supreme Court’s order in the Hate Speech case in the Dharma Sansad held in Haridwar today, former Shia Waqf Board chairman Jitendra Narayan Tyagi (Wasim Rizvi Wasim Rizvi) surrendered in the Haridwar Court, where He was sent to jail in judicial custody. In view of Jitendra Narayan Tyagi being threatened by some fundamentalists, the court has also ordered for his protection.
Niranjani Akhara reached first
Jitendra Narayan Tyagi (Wasim Rizvi) first reached Niranjani Akhara. Here he met the President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, Ravindrapuri and took his blessings, after which he reached the Haridwar court complex. Many saints and saints including Ravindrapuri Maharaj were also present with him.
Dharma Sansad was held in Haridwar
The Dharma Sansad was held from 17 to 19 December 2021 at Ved Niketan, Haridwar. It is alleged that things like destroying a community were said in it. Gulbahar Khan, a resident of Jwalapur, had filed a case against 10 religious leaders in the Hate Speech Case on 23 December 2021 in Haridwar city Kotwali. Jitendra Narayan Tyagi’s name was also in it.
Was in jail for four months
Jitendra Narayan Tyagi was arrested by Haridwar Police on 13 January 2022 from the UP-Uttarakhand border. He was in jail for about four months. After this he got interim bail from the Supreme Court (SC). The interim bail expired on August 29, 2022, with the Supreme Court ordering Jitendra Narayan Tyagi to surrender by September 2.
Surrendered after the order of the Supreme Court
Jitendra Narayan Tyagi’s lawyer Uttam Singh Chauhan says that he was granted bail from the Supreme Court on medical grounds. On the completion of his time, he surrendered after the order of the Supreme Court (SC) on Friday. There have been some inputs that he is facing threat to his life from fundamentalists. In view of this, the court has also passed an order for their protection.
Yeti Narasimhanand Giri also went to jail
Along with Jitendra Narayan Tyagi, Peethadheeshwar Yati Narasimhanand Giri of Dasna Devi temple in Ghaziabad also went to jail on the charge of Hate Speech. However, he got bail from Haridwar court within a month. But Jitendra Narayan Tyagi was in jail for four months.
