Hrithik refuses for the sequel of Brahmastra, now who will be in ‘Brahmastra 2’?

With the release date of the first part of ‘Brahmastra’ approaching, the discussion of the sequel of this film has also started in full swing. While the names of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were being associated with this trilogy, now Hrithik Roshan’s name is also appearing for ‘Brahmastra’ 2. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Sources say that Hrithik has ruled out the sequel of Brahmastra because of his two big films. Hrithik is doing two mega budget films ‘Krrish 4’ and ‘Ramayana’, which will see tremendous visual effects. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, Hrithik feels that both his ongoing projects will take a lot of time and in such a situation, he will not be able to find time for another such film which uses VFX a lot. So Hrithik let go of his opportunity to do a sci-fi film.

The sequel to Brahmastra will tell the story beyond Shiva. Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Shiva. Director Ayan Mukerji had earlier told, “The shooting of the second and third parts will start after the release of the first part. The next two parts of the trilogy, which is to be made in three parts, will have new characters and they will bring new characters to the story of Brahmastra. Will move on from the angle.” If reports are to be believed, the biggest part of the film’s budget has been spent on its VFX. Some people claim about the film that there is nothing beyond Bahubali’s VFX.

‘Brahmastra’ will release in five languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on September 9. ‘Brahmastra’ is the most expensive budget film of Indian cinema till date. Its budget is 410 crores. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. Shahrukh will also be seen in a cameo role in the film. It is being said that Shahrukh Khan is playing the role of Vanar Astra in the film. Looking at the advance booking trend, it seems that Brahmastra will prove to be Brahmastra at the box office as well.
