Half the government of Chhattisgarh has reached the Halla Bol rally against the inflation of Congress held at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is attending the rally along with his six ministers. At the same time, six ministers including Health Minister TS Singhdeo are not involved in this demonstration. It is being told that four thousand leaders and workers of Chhattisgarh have reached this rally.
Targeting the BJP government at the Center in the rally, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, “Inflation is increasing on one hand, on the other hand the income of the people is decreasing. Congress is fighting a battle against the rising inflation in the country. On one hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi raises his voice in favor of farmers, poor, laborers. At the same time, it is the misfortune of the country that instead of removing unemployment and inflation, those in power fight against Rahul Gandhi.
The Chief Minister said that the Congress party always takes decisions in favor of the poor, laborers and farmers. They are calling rewari to waive the loans of farmers, free treatment of the poor. On the other hand, the Central Government’s waiver of loans worth lakhs of crores of rupees of big industrialists is not Rewari. He said that we respect hard work and labor, and they insult labor. The Chief Minister said, when Rahul ji has spoken a ruckus from this Ramlila Maidan. Till then those in power have been forced to bow down. In the context of agricultural laws also, Rahul ji had said that the government will have to withdraw these black laws. Even after putting in full force for a year, the government had to bow down and the black laws were returned. The rally was mainly addressed by Rahul Gandhi.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel left for Delhi on Saturday night at 9.30 pm. In the night, he met Congress leaders and took stock of the preparations for the rally. After that he stayed in Chhattisgarh Sadan. In the morning he reached the Congress headquarters along with Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Urban Administration Minister Shiv Dahria, Food Minister Amarjit Bhagat, Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma and Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhediya. AICC secretary and MLA Vikas Upadhyay, AICC secretary and AICC secretary Rajesh Tiwari and state Congress treasurer Ram Gopal Agrawal had also reached there with him. From here all the leaders have been taken to Ramlila Maidan by buses.
Here, along with the state president of Congress, Mohan Markam, a team of office-bearers-workers also arrived. On Friday itself, the party had flagged off a special train filled with around 2500 workers from Raipur to Delhi. Apart from this, senior officials and competent workers have also reached Delhi by plane and other train. Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur says that four to four and a half thousand people from the state have reached the Hallabol rally in Delhi. This includes ministers, MPs, MLAs, state officials and workers.
An interesting information has come from the air transport sector. It is being told that the flights of the last two days on the Raipur-Delhi route were completely full. On Saturday, the ticket for going from Raipur to Delhi reached from Rs 11 thousand 500 to Rs 14 thousand 700. The fare of Delhi on normal days ranges from seven thousand to seven thousand 500 rupees. Currently only 6 flights are available on this route in a day. It is being said that this jump could be due to the increased movement from the Congress rally.
