Uttar Pradesh / Badaun: Next to the drunken husband, the wife was doing such work with the lover, when the husband saw it, he had to take his life
A sensational case has come to light in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. A woman resident of Urena village of Badaun, along with her lover, killed her husband Arvind. It is being told that Arvind was addicted to alcohol. There used to be frequent quarrels between husband and wife regarding this matter. The husband used to get drunk day and night. His wife Ruchi was annoyed by this. During this, Ruchi met Mohit Singh, a resident of Urena Pukhta village. A love affair started between the two. Ruchi’s husband came back home after getting drunk three days ago. Being intoxicated, her husband fell asleep unconscious.
Together with the lover, the husband was put to death
Taking advantage of this, Ruchi called her boyfriend Mohit to meet her at home and started having a relationship with him. During this, Arvind regained consciousness and saw both of them. After that he started screaming and shouting at both of them. On raising her noise, Mohit and Ruchi together dropped her on the cot and strangled her to death. After carrying out this incident, Mohit left the house. At the same time, the wife of the deceased Arvind slept in her own house. When people woke up in the morning, Ruchi went to her family living in the neighborhood crying and told that her husband Arvind had died. The relatives did not raise any questions on the death due to excessive drinking.
Cause of death revealed in post mortem report
The relatives were going to perform the last rites without conducting the post-mortem of the dead body. Meanwhile, someone informed the police about the matter. Police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. In which the death was confirmed due to strangulation of the deceased, then the police started investigating the matter. The police got the numbers of all the family members on surveillance to trace the accused and also picked up the BTS data from the spot. During this time the police got a number which was running from the same house.
Police sent the accused to jail
When the police investigated, it was found that the number belonged to a person named Mohit. After which the police started interrogation by taking Mohit into custody, then he accepted his crime. He told that he has an illicit relationship with Ruchi, the wife of the deceased Arvind. After this, the police also arrested the accused Ruchi. The police arrested both of them on Monday and sent them to jail. According to SP City Amit Kishore Srivastava, initially the incident did not look like a murder. If the post-mortem of the dead body was not done, it would have been considered a normal death. The murder came to light only after the post-mortem report came.
