Uttar Pradesh : Fire in Lucknow’s Levana Hotel, 15 people evacuated so far, rescue underway

A fire broke out in a hotel in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. A fire broke out on Monday morning at Hotel Levana, located in the heart of the city, ie Hazratganj. When the fire broke out, many guests were present inside the hotel. They are being taken out. Top officials of fire brigade and administration have reached the spot. With the help of the police, people are being taken out of the hotel.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has spoken to the top officials of the administration regarding this incident. CM Yogi has directed the district administration officials to provide proper treatment to the injured. Along with this, the District Magistrate and senior police officers have been instructed to reach the spot immediately and expedite the relief and rescue work.

Guests are being taken out by breaking the window

The cause of the fire has not been revealed yet, but there is a plume of smoke inside the hotel. The fire brigade team is trying hard to rescue the people trapped in the rooms. Even the windows are being broken. There are also reports of some people getting injured, but this has not been confirmed yet. More than half a dozen vehicles of the fire department are present on the spot.

Apart from this, top officials of Lucknow Police have also reached the spot. It is being told that the fire started around 6 am today. Soon the fire took a formidable form and the room was full of smoke. People started suffocating. The biggest problem faced by the fire brigade team that reached the spot is getting people out of the rooms.

Due to the fire, smoke filled all the rooms of the hotel. Because of this, the fire brigade team is evacuating people by breaking the windows of the hotel. The rescue operation has been going on for about two hours till 9 am. Officials present on the spot say that we have taken out many people so far and efforts are on to bring out those who are trapped.

Thankfully there has been no casualty so far. However, after suffocation, the health of some people has definitely deteriorated, who have been rushed to a nearby hospital. At present, the fire brigade team is trying to get the people out.
