Youth protested in Tehri and Chamoli, demanding a CBI inquiry into the UKSSSC paper leak and appointments in the assembly. Unemployed students took out a protest rally from Gopinath temple premises to the District Magistrate’s office. The students demanded a CBI inquiry into the irregularities and corruption taking place in the recruitment in the state. Said that even though the Uttarakhand government is patting its back, STF Uttarakhand will not be able to reach out to the corrupt who are basically playing this whole game. The youth said that if the state government had been serious about the future of the youth in Uttarakhand, then there would not have been so many irregularities in the recruitment. The youth demanded a CBI inquiry into the rigging of recruitment.
If there is no CBI investigation, youths across the state will take to the streets and make a violent agitation. At the same time, the state agitators are hurt by the scams in the recruitment of government jobs. He says that he did not fight for Uttarakhand for the scams. If Uttarakhand is separated from Uttar Pradesh, then the hill state will develop.
