Uttarakhand / Rudrapur : Jewelery worth five lakhs stolen from wholesaler’s house

Thieves stole gold jewelery worth five lakhs by targeting the house of a businessman who had gone to get treatment for his wife. On information, the police reached the matter and inquired about the CCTV footage. According to the police, the thieves entered the house by jumping the main gate.
Trader Pankaj Grover lives on the first floor in a rented house near Panch Mandir in the main market of the city. Pankaj has a wholesale business of household goods in Galla Mandi. The landlord’s electronic shop is on the ground floor. Pankaj’s wife’s kidney is bad for the last several months. Pankaj has been doing rounds of Dehradun and Delhi for the last one month for kidney transplant.
Pankaj’s in-laws are also in the city, so his wife often stays in the maternal house. According to the victim, no one was living in the house for a month. Pankaj has kept his business warehouse in the second floor of the house. Meanwhile, the servants working in his shop often come to that house to pick up the goods from the warehouse. On Sunday afternoon, when his servants came to collect the goods from the warehouse, the mesh in the door of the house was broken and the door was open. At the same time, the brick that broke the lattice was also lying in the living room. Apart from this, all the items kept inside the house were scattered.
Pankaj reached the spot on the information of the servants. On information, SSI Kamal Khan also reached from Kotwali. After talking to the victim, the police started scrutinizing the footage of the CCTV installed there. However, the police did not get any clue from the CCTV. Business Board President Sanjay Juneja and General Secretary Harish Arora also reached the spot. The Kotwali police could not get the Tahrir till the time of writing the news.
The thieves did not touch anything except the jewellery
After opening the door, the thieves entered the room directly in front of the house. By breaking the cupboard in the room, the thieves stole the gold jewelery kept there. According to the victim, the jewelery is between eight to 10 tola, whose value is being told around Rs 5 lakh. Apart from this, things like cylinders, warehouse items, laptops etc. were also kept there but the thieves did not touch any other item. Theft, cash and two and a half tola jewelery at the soldier’s house
By entering the house of a constable in Shanti Vihar Colony, thieves stole 49 thousand cash and two and a half tola gold jewelery in broad daylight. No one was in the constable’s house at the time of the incident. Police have registered a case against unknown.
Prakash Chandra, a resident of Shanti Vihar Colony of Bhurarani area, is posted as a constable in the police office. Prakash told that his mother has gone to the village. On Friday morning, his brother had gone to work in Haldwani, while he too had left for duty around nine o’clock.
During this, the thieves broke the lock of his house and stole 49 thousand cash and a gold ring, two mangalsutras and a pair of earrings from the cupboard. When Prakash returned home in the evening, his senses were blown away after seeing the weight of the house broken. In a hurry, calling 112 and informed the police about the matter.
Thieves targeted Bhurarani area
The way theft incidents are increasing in Bhurarani area, it can be inferred that thieves have completely targeted that area.
