Uttarakhand : Who will investigate the Vidhan Sabha recruitments, who are the 3 members of the committee?

Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan has handed over the investigation to a three-member expert committee headed by retired IAS Dilip Kumar Kotia in the matter of investigation on the appointments made in the Legislative Assembly. Let’s know about them.

DK Kotia

Dilip Kumar Kotia is a 1981 batch IAS officer. He retired as Principal Secretary in March 2013. He has served in the Uttarakhand Public Service Tribunal. At present, he is also holding the responsibility of the post of Chairman of the State Health Authority. His image has been that of an honest officer.

SS Rawat

Surendra Singh Rawat, a 1996 batch IAS officer of Uttarakhand cadre, retired from the post of Secretary in the year 2013. While in service, he has also held important posts like Secretary Personnel and Secretary Chief Minister. He has also taken over the charge of Commissioner State Information Commission till the year 2018. Rawat has been an expert in Personnel Affairs. He was considered a tough officer.

Avnendra Singh Nayal

Avnendra Singh Nayal, a 1997 batch IAS officer of Uttarakhand cadre, retired from the post of Secretary in the year 2016. He has handled important responsibilities like Secretary Personnel, Commissioner Kumaon, Director Administrative Academy. Nayal has also been a member of the Public Service Agency, Nainital.

Committee members will meet on Sunday or Monday

Dilip Kumar Kotia (Retired IAS and Chairman Expert Committee) said that the members of the committee will meet on Sunday or Monday. In this further action plan for the investigation will be prepared. The committee is to conduct this inquiry in two separate phases of the year. In such a situation, all the files will be looked at separately and a report will be made on the basis of that.
