Jharkhand / Garhwa: Dumka-like incident, petrol was thrown on fire; accused kasamuddin absconding

An attempt was made to burn a youth alive by sprinkling petrol in Chittavishram village of Untari police station under Garhwa district. 37-year-old youth Deepak Soni was badly burnt in the incident. The incident happened at around 8.15 pm on Friday night. After the incident, the seriously injured youth was immediately brought to the city Untari sub-divisional hospital and admitted. After the first aid at the sub-divisional hospital, seeing the condition of the youth as serious, he was sent to the Sadar Hospital for better treatment.

There is a police alert after the incident in Chittavishram village, about three kilometers from the Nagar Untari police station. The accused could not be arrested till the writing of the news. In connection with the incident, the injured youth Deepak told that Kasamuddin and another youth were fighting the side. Hearing the sound, he went there. Reaching there he asked why are you fighting. After that, Kasamuddin, saying that you are my master, reached in front and set it on fire by sprinkling petrol. He also sells petrol.

On the other hand, on getting information about the incident, Yogendra Kumar, in-charge of the police station reached the spot and started investigation into the matter. After this, he immediately brought the injured youth to the sub-division hospital and admitted him. Local resident chief representative Kamlesh Soni told that he was passing through the spot. At the same time, people stopped seeing the crowd, then people told that Kasamuddin had set it on fire by spraying petrol.

On the other hand, after the incident, a video has also gone viral in which a young man is seen bringing a flammable substance filled with petrol in one hand and fire in the other. After that, a stampede breaks out due to fire. People start running here and there. Inspector Rajesh Kumar of Nagar Untari police station said that there has been a case of fighting between two youths in Chitt Vishram village. In the same sequence, there is information about setting fire by spraying petrol. The incident is being investigated. Action will be taken against those found guilty in the investigation.
