TMC MP Mahua Moitra has targeted BJP for changing the name of Rajpath in Delhi to duty path. The TMC leader on Saturday took a jibe at Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar by replacing the word “raj” with duty and taking a jibe at several other words.
He tweeted, “The new BJP in-charge of West Bengal can enjoy his duty kachoris from Kuttydhani Express to Sealdah and after that eat a nice sweet duty bhog. Delicious.”
Let us tell you that this tweet was the latest in the posts to take a dig at the renaming of Delhi’s Rajpath. It is to be known that Rajpath which connects Rashtrapati Bhavan at Raisina Hill via Vijay Chowk, India Gate, National War Memorial to National Stadium has been renamed as Duty Path.
Mahua Moitra is one of the sharpest critics of the Modi government and the BJP, who is often seen attacking the BJP on a daily basis. The Rajpath, where some of the most important government ministries are also located, was renamed Kartavya Path (Duty Street) in an attempt to relieve India’s colonial burdens.
