The beginning of a new era in Britain, King Charles III became the new emperor; wife camilla queen consort

A new era has begun in Britain. Two days after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, her son Charles III has been proclaimed Britain’s new monarch. For the first time in history, King Charles III was crowned in a historic ceremony on television. Along with this, his wife Camilla was elected Queen Consort.

King Charles III was officially proclaimed King of Britain on Saturday in a historic ceremony at St James’s Palace. Before the death of mother Elizabeth II, he was Britain’s Prince, his coronation was formally announced on Saturday.

British Prime Minister Liz Truss, apart from several senior politicians and officials, attended the royal ceremony at St James’s Palace in London. These included officials and politicians who would serve as advisors to the emperor in the coming times. At the ceremony, King Charles III was elected Queen Consort along with his wife Camilla. Together his eldest son William would succeed Charles. He was given the title of Prince of Wales.

Britain’s new monarch, Charles III, remembered mother Elizabeth II in his first address on Friday and vowed he would continue to keep the vows his mother and the Queen made and continue to work for the people of Britain for life.

On Friday, the monarch paid tribute to her mother, Queen Elizabeth II, saying: “…my dear mother, as you begin your last great journey to meet my dear Heavenly Father, I just want to say thank you Thank you for your love and dedication to our family and people of the nation, you served so diligently for so many years.”
