Former Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker and Finance Minister Premchand Agarwal has now been accused of adding crores of assets in the name of wife and son. The Congress has said to challenge the entire matter in the court alleging that the truth is hidden in the affidavit filed while filing the nomination.

Congress leader Jayendra Ramola did a press conference
Talking to reporters at a hotel located at Triveni Ghat on Saturday, All India Congress Committee member Jayendra Ramola accused Finance Minister Premchand Agarwal of buying land and property worth crores in Rishikesh, Devprayag and other areas in the name of wife and son. He also presented the relevant documents during this period. He also claimed that he had added this property while in the post of minister.

Ramola said that this year when he contested the election of MLA from the constituency, he had left blank space in front of the columns of his son and wife. There was no mention of property anywhere.
Where did the property worth crores come from?
Ramola said that the wife and son are dependent on Finance Minister Premchand Agarwal, the big question is from where this property worth crores was acquired. Ramola alleged that illegal appointments within the assembly, promotion of finance secretary several times in a year are still in the news.

The investigation of properties worth crores bought by the minister in the name of his wife and son should be done by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Will challenge the whole cases in the court
He said that legal advice is being taken there in this matter. After that the entire cases will be challenged in the court. During this, Advocate Abhinav Malik, Councilor Devendra Prajapati Rakesh Singh Mian, Shakuntala Sharma, Bhagwan Singh Panwar, Ajit Singh Goldie etc. were also present.

How the NOC was issued in the disputed measles
Ramola said that the land purchased in the name of the minister’s son in Bharat Vihar Rishikesh is registered by the court as a disputed Khasra number. Tehsil administration does not issue NOC to anyone on the disputed land. But in the year 2019, the then sub-divisional magistrate issued a no-objection certificate to them and the property owner’s name was also changed within the municipal corporation. He also demanded action against the then SDM.
