On Uttarakhand Police, Dhami was kind, made this big announcement

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to create a new post of ‘Additional SI’ in the state police service. This will give more opportunities for promotion to the soldiers. CM has ordered to create 1750 new posts of Additional SI. The grade pay in the new posts will be 4200.

A good solution has been given to the problem of grade pay of police personnel by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. There are 17500 posts of constables in police department and 3440 posts of head constables and there is not a single post of Additional SI. In order to promote the police personnel on time, on the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, orders have been issued to create 1750 new posts of head constable rank and sanction 1750 new posts by creating a new rank of Additional SI. Most importantly, his grade pay will be 4200. The Chief Minister said that “I am sure that this will give more opportunities for promotion to the jawans.”
