While dengue cases are increasing in Dehradun, children have been attacked by the infectious disease HFMD. In this disease, children are having rash, blisters and blisters in hands, mouth, feet along with fever and body pain. Such patients are coming daily in government and private hospitals.

Senior Pediatricians Dr. Ashok Kumar and Dr. Rajan Mohan of Doon Hospital said that this infectious disease is more common in children below the age of six. Every day five-seven children are coming to Doon Hospital like this. Cases have also increased in private hospitals.

Blistering rash also starts appearing on the hands and feet. There is also a complaint of pain in the throat.

See a doctor and keep the child at home
Doon Hospital’s DMS and Pediatrician Dr. NS Khatri, specialist Dr. Vishal Kaushik told that if a child sees symptoms, consult a doctor. Stop sending to school. Because, this disease can spread to other children. Up to 10 children can be infected from one child. Therefore, if a child has a problem, immediately show it to the doctor and keep it at home. The child will be fine after six to seven days of treatment. Expert Dr. Tanvi Singh told that to increase immunity, give children liquids to drink and fruits to eat.
