Team India has been announced for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia. The team was announced by the BCCI on Monday evening, in which no shocking decision is seen. The squad has been announced exactly as was expected. It is a matter of happiness for the fans of Team India that Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel have returned to the team. The T20 World Cup is to begin on 16 October and the final will be played on 13 November.

Indian squad for T20 World Cup is as follows: Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (Vice-Captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (WK), Dinesh Karthik (WK), Hardik Pandya, R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh.

Standby players – Mohammed Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Chahar.

Bumrah-Harshal Patel return

Team India, which has suffered a defeat in the Asia Cup, has high hopes from the Mission T20 World Cup and for this the best pace battery has been brought to the fore. Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel have returned, who were away from cricket for a long time due to injury. But now both are fit for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia.

Jadeja out due to injury, Akshar’s luck open

Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was injured during the Asia Cup. Recently he had knee surgery, due to which he will be away from cricket for the next few weeks. This is the reason why Ravindra Jadeja is not a part of Team India in T20 World Cup. Axar Patel has been included in his place, he is also a left arm spinner and can play long shots.

Will Virat Kohli open?

In the T20 World Cup, the Indian team’s batting will be completely dependent on the top-3, where captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain KL Rahul and former captain Virat Kohli play. All three are top scorers for Team India and have been saving the team from difficult situations. But there is also a question that who will open in the World Cup, will the regular pair of Rohit and Rahul enter the World Cup.

Or the team management would like to open the pair of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, which has also been successful. Virat Kohli recently opened his first century in T20 International cricket and ended the drought of centuries in international cricket after three years.

The burden on the shoulders of these fast bowlers

The T20 World Cup is happening in Australia, in such a situation, the role of fast bowlers is going to be very important there. This time the pace battery of the Indian team will be led by Jasprit Bumrah, along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel and Arshdeep Singh. Apart from all these, there is also Hardik Pandya, who is now bowling continuously and can also bowl four overs if needed. If Team India has to create history in Australia, then it is very important for these bowlers to walk.
