Uttarakhand : CM Dhami became strict on “Dehradun Smart City Project”, said to the officials – no compromise will be tolerated with the quality of works

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to the officers to expedite the pace of construction works being done under the Smart City Project. He said that no compromise on the quality of works would be tolerated. After the strict attitude of the Chief Minister, the Public Works Department has given momentum by doing construction work in mission mode. In this sequence, MLA of Rajpur region, Khajan Das today conducted on-site inspection of construction works at various places in the city and thanked the Chief Minister for this. He said that the work of repairing the roads has been started with immediate effect.

Taking serious note of the complaints received from the public representatives, the Chief Minister had handed over the work to the Public Works Department by withdrawing the work from the working organization. The Public Works Department has started the work giving priority to the improvement work of the roads. On Monday, MLA Khajandas conducted on-site inspection of the works started by LNVV in areas like Lansdowne Chowk, Nainiz Bakery Chowk etc. and gave proper instructions to the officers. During this, Khajan Das thanked the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Secretariat for expediting the construction works. While assuring the public, he said that soon the residents of Doon would see improvement in the condition of the roads of Doon. Smart City AGM Jagmohan Singh Chauhan, Executive Engineer Public Works Department DC Nautiyal were present along with their subordinate officers on this occasion.
