A shocking divorce case has come to the fore in Badaun. The husband was forcibly divorced on behalf of the wife. Throwing a talaqnama signed by 2 witnesses, the wife said that I have divorced you and got another marriage. The husband says that for a year living in Seelampur area of Delhi, he was working in readymade clothes. On coming to Budaun on 22nd, the wife did not allow her to enter the house. Mohammad Afzal, a resident of Para Mohalla above the police station Kotwali, had also come home several times on Eid Bakrid.
Shocking divorce case
On coming from Delhi on 22nd, the wife said that you cannot live in this house. I have divorced you. The wife gave the husband the affidavit of the signatures of two witnesses. Mohammad Afzal did not understand anything. Both have been married for almost 16 years and both have a 14-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter. According to Afzal, the wife said that keep your mouth shut and take 5 lakhs from us.
The victim husband complained about the matter from the Chief Minister’s Portal to the SSP and the Kotwali, but no hearing was held. Afzal says that he has done property worth one crore in the name of his wife. He got divorced fraudulently and also made him homeless. Afzal alleges that the wife has got the same Aadhaar number made in the name of different husband. Afzal came to know about the sale of the property in Delhi. On coming home, the wife decreed to be homeless and said that you have got divorced.
Who will listen to the husband’s complaint?
When asked, threw a paper. In the paper, the date of divorce and giving 2 lakh rupees has been written on 7th June and two fake witnesses have also been raised. The time of iddat is 3 months and 10 days. According to the paper, the wife got married again. My complaint was not heard anywhere. Kotwal Harpal Singh Balian told that the applicant had complained to the SSP. The letter has reached us. The investigation has been handed over to the light in-charge. Legal action will be taken after investigation.
