Vishwa Hindu Parishad demands survey of madrasas across the country, Imam Council’s reaction

Vishwa Hindu Parishad has demanded a survey of madrasas across the country. The VHP appreciated the preparation of the investigation of madrasas by the Uttarakhand government after Uttar Pradesh and said that the state governments have every right to conduct survey in their area. The VHP said that those who instigate people against the investigation of madrasas, action should be taken against them.

VHP demands action against survey opponents

Vishwa Hindu Parishad spokesperson Vinod Bansal said that all madrasas of the country should be investigated. He said that along with the improvement in the education system, there is a need to stop wrong actions. The VHP spokesperson has also demanded legal action against the Maulanas who instigate people against the investigation of madrassas. He said that the governments have the right to survey in their area. The VHP spokesperson termed those instigating the attack on government officials as anti-national.

Imam Council gave controversial response

On the other hand, Imam Council President Sajid Rasidi and others from the other side protested against the survey of madrassas. He said that the surveyors should be welcomed with shoes and slippers.

Survey of Madrasas in Uttarakhand on the lines of UP

On the lines of UP, the Dhami government of Uttarakhand has also decided to conduct a survey of madrassas operating in the state. Politics has intensified regarding the survey of madrasas. State governments say that survey is necessary to know about the basic facilities in madrasas. Survey work has also started in Uttar Pradesh according to 12 points.
