Karnataka / Bengaluru : Controversy broke out over dog’s ouster, mother and daughter gave their lives

A unique case has been seen in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Where mother and daughter committed suicide by hanging in a house. As soon as the information was received, the police reached and the bodies of both were sent for post-mortem and started the investigation of the case. While investigating the matter, the police came to know that there was a dispute going on in the house regarding a pet dog. The daughter-in-law was allergic to the dog. After which the daughter-in-law asked her husband and mother-in-law to take the dog out of the house, but no one listened to her. Saddened by this, he committed suicide along with his 13-year-old daughter. The woman was a housewife and her daughter was a class 6 student of a private school.
There were frequent disputes in the house
The police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against the woman’s husband, mother-in-law. During investigation, the police came to know that the woman was suffering from respiratory disease and the doctor had advised her to stay away from dogs. The deceased woman had requested her husband and mother-in-law several times to remove the dog, but the dog was not removed from the house. Due to which there were frequent disputes in the house.
