Uttarakhand : Cleanliness fortnight on PM Modi’s birthday, CM Dhami started by visiting martyrs’ homes

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami started the ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ program from the residence of Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhoundiyal, who lost his life in the Pulwama attack. During this, CM Dhami met the family members of martyr Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhoundiyal. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami today paid tribute to Lal Shaheed Major Chitresh Bisht of Uttarakhand by reaching Nehru Colony and Martyr Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal’s residence on Neshvila Road. During this, CM Dhami met the families of the martyrs and also launched the Swachhta Pakhwada program on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday near their house. BJP is celebrating PM Modi’s birthday as Swachhta Pakhwada. Which has started on the birthday of PM Modi i.e. 17th September and will end on 2nd October, the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal, who was martyred in the encounter between security forces and terrorists in Pulwama 2019, was martyred on the day of his birthday. The day Vibhuti was martyred was his 35th birthday. Martyr Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal was born on 18 February 1985. Shaheed Major was the only brother of three sisters. All three sisters are older than him. Let us inform that on 14 February 2019, there was a terrorist attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama, in which 40 soldiers were martyred.

Wife became lieutenant in army

Nitika, wife of martyr Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal, had made up her mind to join the army a few days after the martyrdom of her husband. Nitika, who was working in a software company in Noida, quit her job and took the Women’s Special Entry Scheme exam in Allahabad in December 2019. She had passed the exam last year only. She had passed screening test, psychological test, ground test, interview and medical test. Its merit list was released in March 2020. After the release of the merit list, Nitika got the call letter from Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. Now after completing the training, Nitika officially joined the army as a lieutenant, wearing the army uniform.
