Uttarakhand / Nainital : Action will be taken against those who make old videos viral
DM Dhiraj Singh Garbyal said that action would be taken against those who made the old videos viral. He has directed the SSP to investigate such videos and take action against the person concerned.
DM said that some mischievous elements have made an old video of Nainital’s Mall Road viral on social media, in which Nainital’s Mall Road is filled with water. He said that this video is old. At present, the condition of Nainital’s Mall Road is normal. The District Magistrate said that the chaotic elements are trying to tarnish the image of the district administration by circulating such old videos.
DM Garbyal has ordered the Senior Superintendent of Police to investigate this video. Said that action should be taken against the person who made this video viral under the sections of the Disaster Management Act.
The District Magistrate has instructed everyone not to propagate any such videos, photos and misleading facts which are not true. Action will be taken against the person doing so under relevant sections.
