Jamu and Kashmir : ‘Raghupati Raghav Rajaram’ in Kashmir’s school, Mehbooba Mufti said – Hindutva agenda running the government

PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has accused the Jammu and Kashmir administration of running a Hindutva agenda. Mehbooba Mufti shared a video of a government school in Kulgam in which children were singing the hymn ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’. It is said that this hymn was very much liked by Mahatma Gandhi.

Writing a post on Twitter, Mufti said, “Keeping religious gurus in jail, locking Jama Masjid and teaching Hindu bhajans to children in school shows that the Indian government is running the Hindutva agenda in Kashmir.” We are bearing the brunt of ‘changing Jammu and Kashmir’. The first school board appears in this video. After this, about a dozen students are seen singing bhajans in the classroom. At the same time, the teachers stand in front and sing hymns. Many girl students are also seen in the class who are wearing masks. Ahmed Lone, Tehsildar of Damhal Hanji Pora in Kulgam district said that he too has seen the video on social media.
