It is capable of shooting down enemy cruisers, fighter jets and even ballistic missiles in a jiffy. This is an upgraded version of Russia’s S300. It has been in service in Russia since 2007. It can hit 36 ​​targets in a single round.

Features of the S400 Air Defense System

The missiles fitted in the S400 air defense system can hit any target at an altitude of 30 km and a range of 400 km. It has multiple range missiles. Also, there are many advanced radars installed. This radar can track 100 to 300 targets. There are 12 launchers in this defense system. It is capable of firing three missiles simultaneously. In the year 2018, there was a deal between Russia and India regarding the supply of S-400 defense systems.

By the way, this is not the first time when a BJP leader has attacked the Modi government at the Center or its policies.
