In remote areas of Uttarakhand, the problem of medical system will be overcome, the doctor himself will go to the patient’s house – Secretary in-charge Rajesh Kumar

Uttarakhand Health Department is preparing a big plan regarding the field of medicine. The health department is now planning to have a “first time responder” in the interior areas. Which will be able to reach for immediate relief in any situation in the mountains. There are always problems regarding medicine in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Here patients have to face a lot of difficulty to take them to the hospital. This problem is more severe in remote rural areas. In different areas of the state, pictures of patients being taken to hospitals by palanquins remain in the news. Recently, a similar sight was seen in Almora as well. Where the patient was being taken to the hospital by palanquin. This is the reason that now the Health Department is preparing a plan to reduce such cases in hilly areas. The Health Department is preparing to provide relief to the patients immediately. In which preparations are being made to form a team of such people as the first time responder i.e. who can reach the spot with emergency kit as soon as the information is received.
Work on golden hour
Regarding the entire plan, Secretary in-charge Rajesh Kumar says that there is a lot of problem of medical system in remote areas. It is also difficult to improve it easily in view of the heterogeneous geographical conditions. So 2 options are being explored. First, the arrangement for the landing of the heli service and the second to prepare the first time responder in the village itself. On which a roadmap is being prepared with all the officials of the Health Department. He told that for this, the team will work on the Golden Hour, that is, efforts will be made to take measures to save lives within 1 hour.
Priority will be given to people associated with the medical field
It was told that the Health Department is preparing a very simple plan regarding the “First Time Responder”. As per the plan, training will be given to the first time responder. It can be a person from the village itself. Preference will be given to persons associated with the medical field. Under the plan, a person from the village itself will be made a first time responder. Who will immediately reach the patient’s house with his kit on information. Where the patient will be given first aid. Now it will be seen how long this plan of the Health Department will be ready. How will it be implemented on the ground? If this plan is implemented properly, then many lives can be saved by providing facilities to the patients in the villages only during the golden hour.
