According to a report in The Economic Times, Prakash Raj adopted a village in Mehboob Nagar district of Telangana in 2015. In the presence of the then District Magistrate TK Sridevi and Shad Nagar MLA Anjaiah Yadav, Prakash Raj adopted Kondareddypally village.
