Mohan Bhagwat is the father of the nation, who said it is right… after the meeting, the head of the Imam organization said
After meeting the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Imam Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, chief of the All India Imam Sangathan, has called Mohan Bhagwat the ‘Father of the Nation’. In an interview given to a channel, when asked that Bhagwat had said some time ago that the DNA of Hindus and Muslims of India is one and India is not complete without Muslims. To this Imam Ilyasi said, ‘What he has said is correct. Since he is the father of the nation, what he said is right. He said that we all believe that the country comes first. The head of the Imam organization said that our DNA is the same, only the way of worshiping God is different. He said that the RSS chief also interacted with the children in the madrassa.
Shortly before this, Bhagwat had reached a mosque in the capital today to meet the chief of the All India Imam Sangathan. The discussion between the two lasted for more than an hour in a closed room at the Kasturba Gandhi Marg mosque. The office of All India Imam Organization is located here. Bhagwat was accompanied by senior RSS functionaries Krishna Gopal, Ram Lal and Indresh Kumar. Ram Lal was earlier the organizational secretary of the BJP while Kumar is the patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch.
After the meeting, Ahmed Ilyasi’s brother Suhaib Ilyasi said, “It is very good that Bhagwat came at our invitation on the death anniversary of our father. This has also sent a good message to the country.” The RSS chief is holding discussions with Muslim intellectuals to strengthen communal harmony. He had recently met former Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, former Chief Election Commissioner SY Qureshi, former Aligarh Muslim University vice-chancellor Lt Gen Zameeruddin Shah, former MP Shahid Siddiqui and businessman Saeed Sherwani.
Kafirs, Jihadis, Pakistanis…
In this meeting, Bhagwat had raised the issue of using the word ‘Kafir’ for Hindus and said that it does not send a good message. At the same time, Muslim intellectuals objected to the labeling of Muslims as ‘Jihadi’ and ‘Pakistani’ by some right-wing organizations. Muslim intellectuals had also told Bhagwat that there was some other motive behind the use of the word ‘kafir’ but in some sections it is now being used as a derogatory word.
Understanding the concerns of the intellectuals, the RSS chief said that the DNA of all Hindus and Muslims is the same. RSS Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said, “RSS Sarsanghchalak meets people from all walks of life. This is part of the ongoing normal ‘Samvad’ process.
